About RPS HISTORY

Richmond Public Schools is a district surrounded by historical narratives, landmarks and experiences. The RPS History and Social Science Department desires to make history KNOWN and available to our students and educators. We can truly never know enough and therefore our daily journey is to find historical influences in our daily lives so that they can be engaged and understood in the larger context of Richmond life.
